Saguaros and cactus are all the rage in fashion trends. This look is even better when combined with the unique look of a lariat necklace. Make this southwest necklace in our 3/4 hour workshop. This is a great class for beginner and Intermediate students. In this class you will learn how to use various studio tools to create this necklace. We will be making a sterling silver Saguaro out of twisted wire. You will make a stamped ring out of square silver wire and solder these components to sterling silver chain. We will give this fabulous necklace a pop of color with an 8mm turquoise cabochon and turquoise bead. We will learn the basics of soldering, texturing, stamping, stone setting, wire wrapping, polishing and applying patina's.
Materials fee is $30, due at the beginning of the class. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own materials. Here is the list of materials needed.
