 Hoop Earrings are such a staple accessory. Make a statement pair of earrings in this intermediate workshop. This is a great class for experienced silversmith students who want a little more practice with stone setting, soldering, sizing and making hoop earrings. You will also get more practice and confidence with polishing and applying patina's. 

Materials fee:

  • Starts at $30 depending on stones, due at the beginning of the class. You will be able to choose from a limited selection of matching stones provided by the studio. However, you are encouraged to bring your own stones. (Please bring a snack or your lunch.)

Prerequisites: You must have taken one of the below classes to sign up for this class. If you sign up for this class without meeting the prerequisites, you will not be issued a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel all scheduled classes 72 hours in advance. After that, it is considered a “Late Cancel.” Those who late cancel or no show lose their class. Space is limited and we are a small business. We ask that you respect other students and cancel in a timely manner if necessary. All cancellations must be emailed to No exceptions.

If Harold Studio cancels any class or workshop, a full refund or reschedule credit will be offered.

The cancellation policy for private lessons is the same as the policy for classes. Being late by more than 10 minutes for a private lesson qualifies as a missed private lesson at the studio and will be charged accordingly.

Tardiness or Missed Classes

Class start times are on your enrollment confirmation, our schedule, and our website. The door opens 10 minutes prior to class to allow everyone to sign in and get settled.

Due to the complex technical processes taught, if a student misses 15 minutes or less, the instructor will help you catch up (time permitting).

If a student misses a class, he or she must schedule a private class with the instructor before being able to move onto the next week’s class. It is imperative that students are caught up when they miss a class. Our classes are structured so that skills are built on one another. Our classes are fast paced. In fairness to the other students, we will not spend class time catching students up who’ve missed a class or classes.

Private Classes are $35.00 for 30 minutes

Or $60.00 for an hour. (We will do our best to keep your Private Class at 30 minutes whenever possible.)

Private classes enable you to catch up, keeps a class from derailing in progress and ensures student’s safety. We ask that you be respectful of your instructor’s time, as well as the other students in class. If you miss a class, email your instructor as soon as possible to schedule your Private Class.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
