Hi! My name is Johanna and Harold Studio is named after my late grandpa Harold. He was one of the people who encouraged me to pursue jewelry making and even bought my first pair of (poorly made) earrings. He went on to buy others from me and gave them to the grandchildren as gifts for birthdays and Christmas. Grandpa Harold died in 2010 and when I decided to open the studio, there was no question in my mind that I would name it after him.
A graduate of the University of Arizona, Johanna went on to get her Jewelry Technician and Graduate Jeweler diplomas from the renowned Revere Academy. From 2008 - 2012, she worked as a jeweler for a jewelry manufacturer which has been designated by both Sotheby's and Christie's as among the most collectible in the U.S. Johanna was a presenter for SNAG(the Society for North American Goldsmiths) the Heat is on Conference, in 2012. She has been a guest artist instructor for the metals programs at Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University and does production and stone setting work for local independent jewelers including Jewel Ya, as well as production and design collaboration for international brand Nashelle. You can shop her line of jewelry at haroldjewelry.com
