Intermediate Cabochon Ring Class

Make your own embellished ring in this 5-6 hour, Intermediate Cabochon Ring  workshop at Harold Studio in Downtown Phoenix Arizona! You will learn:

• Ring sizing and making.

• Soldering multiple levels of metal.

• Decorative bezel forming.

• Creating a v-shank ring.

• Texturing metals.

• Flaring a wide band ring.

• Polishing.

• Using patinas.

Take your ring making skills to the next level in the intermediate cabochon ring class. In this class we will explore using decorative elements such as artisan bezel and twisted or beaded wire to frame your beautiful stones. Students will be able to practice making a wide, textured, flared band. You will be guided step by step with personal attention giving you the confidence to take your jewelry to the next level.  

REQUIREMENTS

• You must have done one of the below to sign up for this class. If you sign up for this class without meeting the prerequisites, you will not be issued a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Taken our cabochon ring workshop.
  • Taken Jewelry 1.
  • Made a cabochon ring before.
• Materials fee is approximately $50 depending on stone choice, or $35 if you bring your own stone, due at the beginning of the class. You will be able to choose from a selection of stones provided by the studio. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own materials. If you would like to, please see this page for supplies.
